First Look at Madagascar: The Crate Escape

The four buddies are pictured together with the penguin squad in the middle of Africa.

Meet again the four buddies from Central Park Zoo, folks. An initial movie still from the upcoming CGI animated "Madagascar: The Crate Escape" has made its way to pop up online, allowing us to take a look at the pack for the first time after their appearance in 2005's "Madagascar."

As seen on the above left, Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, and Gloria the Hippo are shown together in the middle of Africa. The four memorable penguins are also featured in, standing on Melman's bending neck.

Set for a November 7, 2008 release, "Escape" brings back the principal voice cast consisting of Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, and Jada Pinkett Smith with Eric Darnell and Tom McGrath both directing. Story sees the quartet land in the wilderness of Africa where Alex soon meets the rest of his family, but has trouble communicating with them.
