The "Live Free or Die Hard" star is said to be the top choice for the part or may even have landed it in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine."
Looks like there is a possibility for moviegoers to encounter Wolverine's initial love interest in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine", 20th Century Fox's prequel to its "X-Men" film trilogy.
According to a casting scoop coming from IESB.net, the project will include the Adamantium-clawed mutant's early lover Silver Fox in with "Live Free or Die Hard" star Maggie Q as the top choice to play the character. The beauty even is further considered by the site to possibly have been locked for the role as well.
No confirmation from either the studio or Q's representatives regarding the tidbit, so stay tuned to AceShowbiz to find out about official info concerning this matter.
First appeared in "Wolverine" vol.2 #10, Silver Fox is one of a few female victims of the Weapon X project and a member of "Team X," the best covert ops team the CIA had to offer, but later becomes a member of Hydra, a subversive terrorist organization. Like Wolverine, she has an accelerated healing power which enables her to regenerate damaged tissue with much greater speed and efficiency than an ordinary human.
