Ashlee Simpson has confirmed that she will shoot a video this December and put her new single a month after that.

AceShowbiz - Ashlee Simpson recently spoke to MTV News regarding her often-delayed third album. She confirmed that the not-yet-titled album will come in March 2008 and that the official first single will be dropped two months prior that.

On contrary to the reported 'Murder', the first single would be 'Out of My Head (Ay Ya Ya)'. The song is one of the tracks produced by Timbaland. "It's about too many voices, too many people having their own opinion," she said. "It's mainly a fun, dancey song. I think it's got a little bit of an '80s feel to it, too - you'll hear that in it. But at the same time, it's Timbaland." The music video will be shot in December.

Also, thinking that the album may eventually be a portrayal of her bad alter ego, Vicky Valentine, Ashlee revealed that it's actually more into the real her. "The whole Vicky Valentine thing got a little blown out of proportion," she said. "Vicky was a joke for us making the record, and it's all lighthearted and all in good fun. It's me at the end of the day. We've all got different sides to us."

Some songs that may make the cut are 'Murder', 'Rulebreaker', 'Ragdoll' and 'Follow You Wherever You Go'.
