Has gone from bad to good girl, Lindsay Lohan stole the attention with her being absence from the party scenes since completed her rehab stint at the exclusive Cirque Lodge drug and alcohol treatment center in Sundance, Utah early last month. Just Monday November 12th she was photographed performing her first of 10 days of community service, volunteering for the American Red Cross in Pomona, Calif. And just now, new report begins circulating that she might check in to jail on Thanksgiving.
"She's hoping by doing her sentence on a holiday that there will be less attention on her arrival and departure," a source close to the actress-singer revealed. "She doesn't want the same hoopla that surrounded Paris Hilton."
Lindsay has through her attorney reached a plea deal back on August 23rd on misdemeanor drunken driving and cocaine charges that will see her spending one day in jail, serving 10 days of community service and completing a drug-treatment program.
As part of the plea deal, Lindsay was also ordered to attend 18 months of an alcohol education program during her three-year probation. She, in addition, must serve the time before January 18th next year.
Lindsay was snapped by People on Monday began performing her community service, volunteering at an American Red Cross blood services facility in an L.A. Suburb. She arrived there at noon and was greeted by staff in the parking lot before walking into the building. She left the facility around 7 p.m., carrying a book titled BLOOD.
No confirmation nor denial from Lindsay's camp on her being reported to check in to jail by Thanksgiving.
