Lupe Fiasco has premiered a flashy video clip for his official first single from 'The Cool'.

AceShowbiz - The first video from Lupe Fiasco's upcoming album 'The Cool' has been released. The clip of 'Superstar' featuring Matthew Santos really lives up to its title, flashy and superstar-like.

The video was directed by the famous Hype Williams who recently helmed Jay-Z's 'Blue Magic' video. Red-carpet moments and photographers' flashlights became the main theme of the clip.

Fiasco will release 'The Cool' on December 18. The official first single is 'Superstar' despite 'Dumb It Down' being leaked first and made its music video. Santos has previously assisted Fiasco on the song 'American Terrorist', a track from Fiasco's debut album 'Food and Liquor'.

Fiasco is currently working on a "secret project", reportedly a joint venture among him, Kanye West and Pharrell Williams, or collectively known as Child Rebel Soldier (CRS). Rumor has it that the project which can either be an album or a single, will be launched later this year.
