Katie Holmes was among the tens of thousands of runners participating in New York City Marathon Sunday Nov 4th, finishing the race in 5 hours, 29 minutes and 58 seconds.

AceShowbiz - Making her first foray into the annual New York City Marathon Sunday November 4th, Katie Holmes completed her stint at the 26.2 mile challenge in 5 hours, 29 minutes and 58 seconds, cited as not bad for someone who reportedly trained for three months.

Wearing a dark FDNY baseball cap and purple tank top, Holmes sported the number F127.

She was greeted by husband Tom Cruise who with daughter Suri in tow planted a quick kiss on her as she made it to the finish line in Manhattan's Central Park. Also joining the happy family was Holmes and Cruise's parents who were all at the finish line to greet the mother of one.

Holmes, who registered under an alias so she wouldn't draw too much attention to herself, had her time listed in the official results under her real name.

The so-called TomKat and the whole family then, according to People, subsequently headed over to a private banquet which the actor threw for Holmes on the Green. Daughter Suri was seen racing around the tent.

With Cruise was quoted by People as saying he's "very" proud of Holmes, whom he finds "inspired," Holmes herself said at her hotel after the marathon that she's "good," but "feeling very tired."
