Maria Sharapova is taking tennis into the small screen. The tennis goddess is said to have been planning to make a sports drama for the CW.
According to Variety, Sharapova has joined writer Jacob Epstein to work on a sports-themed drama for the network which will be based on the world of professional women's tennis.
The project reportedly is still in the script stage.
Sharapova is a Russian professional tennis player and former World No. 1. As of October 15, 2007, she is the fifth-ranked female player in the world.
