The plan is to sing their joint piece 'She Goes All the Way' that appears on the band's new album 'Still Feels Good'. The band will also open the show with the title track of the album, according to CMT.com.

Foxx and frontman Gary LeVox have actually become acquainted long before the collaboration. The two had even been roomates once in late 1990s. Upon bumping to each other at 2006 Grammy Awards, talks on joint project came up and was eventually materialized this year.

"Jamie is an incredible talent and we were thrilled he took up us on out invitation to join us on the song," LeVox said. "He said he'd do it if we would sing on one of his records, so it's a pretty good swap."

The 41st Annual CMA Awards will air live on ABC at 8 p.m. ET on November 7.
