The second batch of production photos for the upcoming "American Gangster" has safely arrived on the net for moviegoers around to take a look at.
Images taken still mostly feature two leading men of Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe, though there are also shots of Josh Brolin as the crooked, greedy NYPD cop Det. Trupo. Washington here plays real-life heroin kingpin Frank Lucas while Crowe portrays Richie Roberts, a detective who brings down Lucas' drug empire.
Opens in theaters nationwide this November on date 2, "Gangster" previously had a number of different titles such as "Tru Blu" and "The Return of Superfly" during its very first stages of production. The real Frank Lucas and Richie Roberts reportedly served as major consultants to director Ridley Scott on the New York set of the flick.
