Michelle Rodriguez was sentenced to six months in jail for failing to complete community service and alcohol monitoring as part of her probation from a previous drunk driving incident.
"Lost" star Michelle Rodriguez will be soon 'lost' in jail. The actress has on Wednesday October 10th sentenced to six months in jail for failing to complete the community service and alcohol monitoring required by her probation sentence.
"Admitted violation of her probation by failing to provide proof of community service and by consuming alcohol three times while wearing an alcohol monitoring device," Superior Court Judge Daviann L. Mitchell ordered that Rodriguez is not to be released to "work furlough or electronic monitoring and is not to be granted early release."
The judge, moreover, also ordered Rodriguez to complete 30 days of CalTrans work, which means she will have to clean the street and highway.
"She did file a document that said she completed community service on September 25th, but we obtained evidence that she was in New York that day," City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan explained. The document was required as part of 30 days of community service the actress was ordered to serve for violating probation in a 2003 drunken driving case.
Rodriguez is required to report to L.A. County jail by December 24, 2007.
