James Sabatino claimed P. Diddy owed him the royalties of Notorious B.I.G.'s 17 minutes music and 90 minutes video footage.

AceShowbiz - A man is issuing a lawsuit against P. Diddy from his cell block. James Sabatino who formerly worked as consultant in Diddy's 'Bad Boy Entertainment', claimed that the rapper owes him $19 million through his work with the late Notorious B.I.G.

Sabatino admitted he flew B.I.G. to Miami in 1994, for the rapper to record a 17 minutes vocal and 90 minutes worth of video. With no written contract, the rights were considered reserved to Sabatino since he paid for the expenses and the studio cost.

According to the lawsuit, Diddy was slated to buy the footages in 1997 after B.I.G's death for $200,000, but he only gave Sabatino a $25,000 down payment and never paid the rest of the money that was supposed to be completed within 60 days.

Diddy defended, he was afraid that there would be misunderstanding when public found out that he had paid a man who is suspected involved in B.I.G.'s murder. Sabatino was supposed to meet B.I.G. on the night the rapper was killed but he never showed up.
