Amidst the attendance of some Hollywood notable names, a major portion of attention was directed toward George Clooney and girlfriend Sarah Larson during the New York premiere for the actor's latest vehicle "Michael Clayton" at the Ziegfield Theater Monday, September 24, 2007.
The couple's presence really came off as a big surprise since they recently were known to sustain injuries following the motorcycle accident they encountered on Friday, September 21 in New Jersey. However, the incident apparently did not stop the two to support the drama at all.
Looked fine in white shirt and black suit minus a tie, Clooney admitted to suffer a cracked rib but assured the press that he was generally okay as he talked about the recent tumble.
"I'm doing fine, yeah - good, good, good," he said to the Associated Press. "I'm just, you know, dinged up a little bit."
Meanwhile, Larson, who wore an elegant knee-length black dress that night, was spotted to flash smiles along her way down the red carpet to the theater despite the crutches she used and the bandages on her left foot.
Also managed to come for the screening was Clooney co-star Tilda Swinton, joined by other names like Ellen Barkin, Rene Russo, Kate Walsh, and NSYNC member Joey Fatone. Not to be missed either was the presence of Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt, who currently is shooting "Burn After Reading" together with Clooney in Manhattan.
