Jive Records has announced that music video of Britney Spears' comeback single 'Gimme More' will be premiered soon, most likely this October.
Britney Spears' new video for 'Gimme More' is set to premiere soon, with predicted time space within this October. The single itself will be released digitally via iTunes on October 2.
Jive Records, Britney's label, announced on their website that the music video for the song will be "coming soon". It is directed by Jake Nava, the same person who penned Beyonce Knowles and Shakira's duet 'Beautiful Liar'. It was taking shot at a warehouse in downtown Los Angeles on July 19 and August 7.
Meanwhile, People.com has listed 'Piece of Me' as the possible album title and second single. The CD will be dropped November 13.
On other news, Britney's first single 'Gimme More' has received lower spins on radio outlets since her highly criticized MTV Video Music Awards performance this year. On Contemporary Hit Radio/Top 40 Radio, the single fell drastically from 1,062 spins per week ending September 2 to 336 spins and even lower on September 15 weekend, according to Undercover.com.au.
Update (10/05/2007): the video is NOT directed by Jake Nava but a newcomer named Jake Sarfaty who is confirmed to be handpicked by Britney herself.
