AceShowbiz - More gets revealed on Gavin Hood-directed "Rendition" by now as a new clip has delightfully made its way to pop up online within a month of its theatrical release.
Posted exclusively on ComingSoon.net, the clip is also able to be accessed through AceShowBiz's Rendition Trailer section. Titled "Fight About Rendition", it features characters played by Alan Arkin and Peter Sarsgaard being involved in serious conversation.
Set for an October 19, 2007 release, "Rendition" follows the American wife of an Egyptian-born chemical engineer who tries to track her missing husband while a CIA analyst observes the interrogation and torture of the man at a secret detention facility outside the U.S. Though drawing parallels to the real life events surrounding Maher Arar, a Canadian subjected to the United States policy of extraordinary rendition in 2002, pic does not appear to state any claim of being based on the story.
