Master P is partnering with actor Seth Green to produce a hip-hop role playing 3-D video game titled "Play the Industry."
As apparent through his name, Master P is really a master of hip hop. And now he's jumping on the video game bandwagon. Will he be a master in the field too? Time will tell.
The rap mogul is having his Miller Enterprises teaming up with actor Seth Green and partner Matthew Senreich's Stoopid Monkey Productions as well as Shadow MachineFilms to develop an entertainment industry-themed 3-D video game titled "Play the Industry" that will allow players to climb the ranks of stardom as an athlete, hip-hop artist, or entertainment broker.
If the Hollywood Reporter is to be believed, "Play the Industry" project is still in its early stages of development with developers are currently creating a script. "Play the Industry" is expected to be released by late 2009.
"We really want to take the time and make sure we do this right," Senreich said. "But the good thing we have going into this is we are developing the creative ahead of time, and we're very close to having that up and running."
Creators reportedly plan to develop a motion picture, reality show, and clothing line based on the game, should "Play the Industry" meets success.
