AceShowbiz - Are our American idols smarter than a 5th grader? We'll soon find out as Clay Aiken and Kellie Pickler are among the celebrity contestants to compete on "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" during the November sweeps period.
"Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" is an American quiz game show on FOX which games are played by a single contestant, who attempts to answer ten questions plus a final bonus question. Content is taken from elementary school textbooks, two from each grade level from first to fifth. Every correct answer will increase the amount of money the player banks, and a maximum cash prize of US$1,000,000 can be won.
Additional celebrities who will be appearing on the game show's November episodes among others are "Live with Regis and Kelly" host Regis Philbin, "Access Hollywood" correspondent and former "Grease: You're the One that I Want" host Billy Bush; skateboarding star Tony Hawk; and Miss America Lauren Nelson.
The special celebrity "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" episodes is scheduled to air on Thursday nights during the November ratings sweeps period. All the contestants will have their prize donated to charity.
