Big Jon Platt, the Exec Vice President of Urban EMI said, "Solange first came to our attention four years ago when her father and manager, Mathew Knowles, pointed her out to me. Immediately I knew something was there, that special quality that's hard to define, but one that you can't miss."

"Since then, we have come to know her as a songwriter of remarkable versatility and steady determination," Platt added. "She is a true professional and someone with a long and exciting career ahead of her."

The youngest in Knowles clan is currently preparing her sophomore set tentatively titled 'Solange & The Hadley Street Dreams'. Two predicted tracks 'ChampagneChronicNightcap' and 'White Picket Dreams' have leaked online. Last month, Matthew confirmed that the album will be out on January 1, 2008.
