Stars Picked to Highlight Thriller Pic Push

Chris Evans, Dakota Fanning, Camilla Belle, and Djimon Hounsou will star together in Paul McGuigan-directed thriller movie "Push."


Constructing a promising lineup of cast, filmmakers of "Push" have successfully signed bright talents of Chris Evans, Dakota Fanning, Camilla Belle, and Djimon Hounsou to all take starring parts in the movie, Variety has reported.

Story follows a group of young American ex-pats who possess telekinetic and clairvoyant abilities as they hide from a U.S. government agency in Hong Kong and band together to try to escape the control of the division.

Shooting is due to begin next month in Hong Kong for a 2008 release date under the direction of Paul McGuigan who will helm based on script written by David Bourla with William Vince and Bruce Davey both producing.

Set to finance and distribute the flick in North America also in a majority of territories around the globe is Summit Entertainment while Icon Productions will co-finance and distribute it in the U.K. and Australia/New Zealand as well as sell the film rights in Asia and South Africa.
