Pete Doherty is a nonstop tornado of trouble. As if he has yet enough made media headlines with his drug habits, the troubled musician hits another new low with another drug possession charge. The Babyshambles frontman was arrested early on Monday August 20th on suspicion of drugs possession.
According to police sources Pete and his two friends, a male and a female, were arrested at approximately 2:30 a.m. after the car he was riding in was pulled over by London authorities in the city's Tower Hamlets district. The threesome was taken into custody at an east London police station.
The arrest, came hot on the heels of Pete and his band performance at the V Festival in Staffordshire late on Sunday August 19th, will thus become a decisive factor if it will finally send the drug addict to jail permanently.
Pete was pleaded guilty to possessing crack cocaine, heroin, cannabis and ketamine back in July. He was warned by a magistrate earlier this month he faced a prison sentence if he failed to demonstrate he was trying to kick his drugs habit.
No words just yet from the authorities concerning Pete's fate, but fear not for we'll keep you posted with more.
