After the video, now here come the pics. ComingSoon.net has delightfully posted online new photos taken from the Chicago set of "Wanted (2008)" which Russian filmmaker Timur Bekmambetov is helming for Universal Pictures.
The pictures, sixteen in total, are learned to be from the Wednesday (August 15) shoot on the movie and feature Angelina Jolie doing a scene on top of a red Dodge Viper. The car appears to be of the same type shown in the earlier take the actress did before in a Berwyn, Illinois parking lot.
Slated for March 28, 2008 release, "Wanted" is a big screen adaptation of Mark Millar's explosive graphic novel miniseries of the same name illustrated by J. G. Jones which many of its major characters are presented as clear analogues of DC super-villains and super-heroes. Bekmambetov reportedly is planning a follow-up to the flick with Universal though Millar has been learned to deny that he will write a sequel to the comic book.
