A new compilation series that is derived from the idea of well-selling 'NOW That's What I Call Music' series will be released soon. 'This Is NEXT' Vol.1, a record compiling the very best of independent artists with their hits will be dropped on August 21 and you can win it first here!

AceShowbiz is giving away five (5) CDs for five lucky winners who enter our contest. Submission begins today (August 16) and will be closed on August 30.

Among artists featured in the first volume of 'This Is NEXT' are Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bright Eyes, Cat Power, The Hold Steady and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. "Indie music has entered the mainstream," ADA president Andy Allen said. "Hollywood and Madison Avenue are increasingly using tracks from indie artists in their projects, and you hear indie artists regularly in TV shows. This is NEXT features the best music from the indie community."

"This Is NEXT" will be released biannually by different labels in the ADA stable. There will be special programming and promotional features of this series on MTV2. Full tracklisting:
