Appears to prefer staying longer in thriller genre following her last year's vehicle "The Wicker Man", Leelee Sobieski has taken a starring role in an indie feature entitled "Night Train" to join Danny Glover and Steve Zahn in the cast lineup, Variety has reported.
Story revolves around three strangers who compete for a mysterious object on a train on Christmas Eve. Sobieski is learned to play a seemingly sedate med student under the direction of Brian King, who also penned the screenplay.
Sobieski, a New York City native of French descent, embarked on her acting career during her teens and gained wide recognition after starring in Mimi Leder's 1998 effort "Deep Impact." She next can be seen in "Walk All Over Me", slated for this year's Toronto Film Festival, as well as in "88 Minutes", "The Elder Son", and "In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale."
