Mena Suvari changed the way she looks, drastically. The movie beauty is having her hair chopped off just like fellow celeb Britney Spears did before she checked into rehab.
The "American Beauty" went under the radar with her new look when she lunched with friends in a Beverly Hills restaurant.
"I almost didn't recognize Mena," an onlooker said. "Everyone knows that famous scene from American Beauty where she is lying in rose petals with her long, blonde hair. But now it's completely gone - she's like a different person."
A movie actress Mena perhaps best known for her work in "American Beauty" (1999) and the first two "American Pie" films. She could next be seen starring in such films, as "The Mysteries of Pittsburgh", "Day of the Dead", and "Stuck", all of which slated for 2007 release.
