KT Tunstall has found a release date for her sophomore effort 'Drastic Fantastic' that she has strong confidence in.
KT Tunstall has found a date to release her highly-anticipated album "Drastic Fantastic". The Grammy-nominated singer will drop the "not so drastically changed in sound" CD on September 18 via Relentless/Virgin.
Following the first single "Hold On" that has been hot on U.K. radio outlets, KT believes that she picks the right time to release the sophomore set. "I feel like I've done the new album just in time," KT said in a statement. "If I'd taken any time off, I might have missed a bit of a window."
Explaining the differences between this piece and her debut album KT said, "The one major change for me was that on the first album, I did find recording my vocals very difficult. We learned this time around that I can't really sing if I'm not playing. I basically taught myself singing and playing guitar at the same time, so all of my phrasing and breathing disappear if I'm not playing".
The album will come in both standard and deluxe edition with the latter having a DVD as an attachment. Physical "Hold On" was released in U.S. on July 16 while in U.K. it will only reach the stores on August 27. Meanwhile, have a sneak peek of its music video that leaked online on July 18.
