America's very own rock band Fall Out Boy will compete against three British groups to claim victory as Best Band in Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards U.K.. Those giving the boys tough competition are Sugababes, Girls Aloud and McFly.
Justin Timberlake who is a frequent Best Male Singer winner in Nick's U.S. Version is now battling against pop sensation Mika, musical star Drake Bell and McFly's Danny Jones. On the female tally meanwhile, Canadian Avril Lavigne is a heavy contender to Gwen Stefani, Hilary Duff and Girls Aloud's Cheryl Cole.
In the first event ever, U.K's Nick Kids' Choice Awards also has the nomination of MTV Hits Best Music Video. As many as 10 videos are waiting to be voted. Among those running for this prize are Rihanna's "Umbrella", Kaiser Chiefs' "Ruby" and JoJo's "Too Little Too Late".
The event's night that is held October 20 at London's ExCeL arena will be hosted by members of McFly. Those willing to vote can log on to nick.co.uk or use the interactive features of their digital TV box. Voting will be opened for two months starting from July 30.
