"Into the Wild", "Battle in Seattle", and "Atonement" are among these latest additions.
The list of movies featured at this year's Toronto International Film Festival keeps growing larger as organizers of the event have smoothly added eight more titles to the lineup, all being placed in the Special Presentation slot.
The first four of these latest additions are learned to be "Into the Wild", "Battle in Seattle", "Margot at the Wedding", and Tom Kalin-directed drama picture "The Savages." Among the group, "Wild" and "Seattle" are learned to about encounter their world premiere at the festival.
Meanwhile, the other four turn out to also be included in the list for the upcoming Venice Film Festival, held on August 29 up to September 8, 2007. All being major film productions with star-studded cast, they include "In the Valley of Elah", "Iím Not There", "Atonement", and "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford."
Celebrating its thirty-second anniversary, Toronto International Film Festival will run from September 6 to 15 with movies slated to be screened in downtown venues. For this year's event, there will be seventeen programs held apart from that of Special Presentation, namely Canada First!, Midnight Madness, and Real to Reel, to name few.
