Only days after they landed their feet on the US, the Beckhams already created media abuzz with their whereabouts. Now with David Beckham recovering his ankle to be able to play for the Galaxy on the Saturday July 21st match against Chelsea, his BFFs are planning a welcoming bash for him and wife Victoria Adams.
Tom Cruise, wife Katie Holmes and celebrity couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are playing their host role very well, planning to throw a private party to celebrate the British power couple's move to LA at the Museum of Contemporary Art in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday July 22nd.
Invitations for the event, reportedly printed in gold lettering on deep gold card stock, accompanied with a statement reads "Please join Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith in welcoming David and Victoria Beckham to Los Angeles," were sent out earlier this week.
Among those expected to attend the bash are George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey, Jim Carrey, Steven Spielberg, Anjelica Huston, David Geffen and Jerry Bruckheimer.
The Los Angeles Times reported that media will be banned from attending the bash. "This is the hardest party to get into," the paper quoted a party insider as saying. "It's A-list only - and no press."
