Six months of 2007 have already passed and it's time for Rotten Tomatoes, Fox Interactive Media's destination for both casual moviegoers and film aficionados, to roll out its "Mid-Year Report" which lists the best- and worst-reviewed movies thus far this year.

Encompasses a wide range of movies, from blockbusters to micro-budgeted independent films, the report puts Disney/Pixar's latest animated feature "Ratatouille" on the top spot of the best one, being 96 percent 'certified fresh' on rottentomatoes.com.

Sarah Polley-directed romantic drama "Away from Her" is placed on the second position followed by indie flick "Once", acclaimed comedy "Knocked Up", and Edgar Wright's "Hot Fuzz" to make up the top five. Rest slots up to number ten are secured by documentary feature "Sicko", Korean movie "The Host", thriller drama "Zodiac", Adrienne Shelly's last work "Waitress", and Miramax Films release "The Lookout."

For the opposite category, Rotten Tomatoes firmly names rom-com flick "Because I Said So" the worst-reviewed picture for merely scoring 5 percent "Fresh" on the site. The next three places go to thriller movies of "The Number 23", "Premonition", and "The Reaping" with larger-than-life comedy "Norbit" taking the fifth spot. Rounding out the top ten of the list are "Perfect Stranger", "Happily N'Ever After", "Are We Done Yet?", "Code Name: The Cleaner", and "Hannibal Rising."
