From TV mogul to store owner. That's Oprah Winfrey's fate. The famous talk show host is set to open her own store in Chicago.
A spokeswoman for Harpo Productions Inc. said Wednesday June 27th, the store will be located kitty corner from Harpo Studios, where Winfrey's talk show is taped, adding that construction is already underway on the one-story, 4,500 store.
No details being released as yet, not even on what exactly the store is expected to sell nor its opening date.
In related news, Oprah's Website is offering such merchandise, as a beach tote with "O" logo trim for $26, a coffee mug with "The Oprah Winfrey Show" written on the side sold for $10, or a South Africa-made basket sold for $24.
