Successful with her debut album, Lily Allen spares no time to wait her charm rubs off. The open-minded singer is gearing second album with “Alright, Still” producer duo Future Cut again.
"I actually have an apartment in New York, and I've been there trying to record,” Allen said. “I've been working with Future Cut again, and we've come up with some ideas, it's just not really there yet.”
Allen however denies that she's doing the sophomore set for the sake of first album's success. She continued, "I think that's a mistake a lot of people make these days when they have a successful first album, and then the record company pushed them into rushing a second one, I'm not interested in doing that."
In an interview with MTV, Allen specified that her songs “so far are good” but “don't shout anything different” That is why she is taking her time to “do something different”.
She has recently claimed that she will quit from music industry upon reaching 30. "What I'm going to do is work really hard, and make as much money as I can, then retire when I'm 30 and have my childhood all over again."
