The All-American Rejects Fill Summer with Album Work

The All-American Rejects Fill Summer with Album Work
Barely taking a deep breath after a year-long tour, The All-American Rejects have to start working on their next album.

Completing the promotional tour for “Move Along”, The All-American Rejects has little time to rest before heading to the studio for the work on their new album. The stage they are in, “a handful of songs”.

Frontman Tyson Ritters disclosed the ways he gathered the materials, "All I do is cruise around, listening to oldies, to some good ol' Motown, so stuff like that is sort of shaping what we've been writing. And we're looking at a ballad we wrote for the last Gwen Stefani album that she didn't use. We might revisit that one."

Ritters also said that the issues they will bring for the next record won't be far from the previous records although some new things may come up along the way. "There's always songs about missing my girl,” he added. “Plus a little bit of animosity towards the way things are today. I'm gonna be very firm and not shy away from what I wanna say. I think our last record brought us further along as songwriters, and the songs are coming along really nicely."

In previous statement Ritter placed the sound of this record in between the first and the second album. It is another gigs and concerts before the band will get serious on “grinding” the album. If everything should go well, the album will be out in the fourth quarter of 2008.
