Justin Timberlake has been accused of spitting on Swedish teenagers from the roof of his hotel in Gothenburg, it has been reported.
Trouble has found Justin Timberlake. The pop singer has been accused of spitting on fans in Sweden while on his European tour.
The star is said to feel annoyed when a group of teenagers began taunting him while at Gothenburg's Hard Rock Cafe with his entourage, including his recent girlfriend Jessica Biel.
The group verbally abused Justin as he refused to stop for photos and sign autographs, kept following him to the Elite Plaza hotel where he was staying, shouting at him as he went inside. The mad singer then appeared on the balcony and started throwing objects at the group.
"First a load of ping-pong balls came raining down. Then came a plastic bottle of water. After that, there was strawberries and other fruit," Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper quoted a source as saying. "And then came the phlegm."
"These are the worst scenes we have ever seen here and we have celebrities staying here all the time. It was manic, and I've never seen so many TV crew and photographers outside," a senior hotel worker revealed.
No comment from Justin as yet, but the incident seems to leave no bad mark on his career as the next day he continued playing a sell-out show.
