Pete Doherty tells all; his plan to marry supermodel girlfriend Kate Moss to his drug-fuelled lifestyle, in a series of his personal diaries. The journal, titled "The Books of Albion: The Collected Writings of Peter Doherty", consists entries from 1999 and continue into 2007.
Begun with him at the age of 20 when he arrived in London to perform poetry and set up The Libertines, the troubled rocker revealed in his "Books" he hopes to marry Moss summer later this year, writing "We have been close this time passed and with me smack and needle free we shall marry in the summer and I become 10 times happier than any given smackhead ... Huzzah!"
Returns Moss' affection, Doherty also wrote about how he fell in love with her in 2005. "Hold me in your arms and I want for nothing. Lay there, back to me, defiant in your defiance. Well f**k you, I love you, and I do and I do and I do," the Babyshambles frontman said. "(I've) never seen anything like it in my life she's amazing dancing rolling her shoulders in her cut up dress I'm so wrong I know but if she loves me I'll scream with joy..."
The "Books" also featured an entry written by Moss, reading "You have touched my heart and soul, little f***er I wish you wouldn't ring my door now go I could kiss you again and float way. You make me high, my sweet, my skin shivers and longs to be held by you."
"The Books of Albion: The Collected Writings of Peter Doherty" consists of 320 pages and is dedicated "to my true love". The extracts of which were published Thursday June 21st in The Times, the "Books" itself has been released on May 30, 2007 by Orion Books.
