R. Kelly's "Same Girl" featuring Usher has created a surge of anticipation when the audio leaked on Internet few months ago. The song is now officially opened for listening plus viewing through a video directed by Little X (Destiny's Child, Ghostface Killah, Xzibit).
If anybody thought that the two will put up their ego when collaboration taking a way, they are wrong. "There was no ego when they got together," said Little X in an interview with MTV. "They were playing basketball on lunch breaks, it was all good. No egos. No gangs. It's all straight, it's all good. Just the chemistry and good vibes. You'll feel it off the screen."
The Trinidadian-Canadian director also revealed that the ideas and concepts of the music video are not coming purely from him. He said that R. Kelly "not one of those guys who expects the director to just come up with the concept" and that "he knows what he's looking for".
Talking about the same "girl", the model picked to star in the video was gained through casting. Little X added, "Just like the lyrics, 'Coca-Cola red bone' from the ATL...We put the word out, it's so many people representing girls with all the magazines and agents, it's not like back in the day when we had to find our own (models). Now people send us pics. There's people out there hunting."

The words to the song reflect that this woman has a particular beauty mark, works at a certain job, went to a certain college, has a son, etc and in the video, we're to believe that it's a set of twins with the exact same background/characteristics that is described in the song?
