Kanye West to Guest in 2007 Songwriter's Hall of Fame

Kanye West will be one among other artists attending the Songwriter's Hall of Fame this June.


In an event to honor songwriters, Kanye West will make an appearance and witness the induction ceremonies of previously announced inductees. He will join the bunch of artists attending the gala on June 7 at Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York.

Besides the induction of songwriters Don Black, Jackson Browne, Irving Burgie, Michael Masser, Bobby Weinstein and the late Teddy Randazzo, the event will also honor John Legend with Hal David Starlight award and Dolly Parton with Johnny Mercer award.

To present and perform that night are Little Anthony, Patti Austin, Marc Cohn, Sean Garrett, Rod McKuen, Idina Menzel, Tony Orlando, Neil Sedaka, Toni Wine, Bill Withers and Lizz Wright.
