Wyclef Jean to Pay Cartel a Visit Inside 'Bubble'

For a song collaboration, Wyclef Jean will head to now famous bubble house which is a temporary resident of the band Cartel.


Wyclef Jean will visit the band Cartel who has been living inside a 'bubble' placed at Hudson River Park's Pier 54 in New York City. The singer will work with the band on the song "Wasted" that is to be included in Cartel's second album.

Before Wyclef, Cartel has had collaboration with Choir of Harlem and New York street musicians on some tracks for this album. The band will leave the bubble on June 12 and immediately hold a concert on the pier. The result of their album writing during the bubble stay will be out July 24 via Epic Records.

Cartel is the participant of the U.S. version of "Band in a Bubble" which is sponsored by Dr. Pepper. They entered the sanctuary on May 24 and are required to write, record and produce the new album before June 12. For 24/7 people can view the process through 23 strategically placed cameras.
