Numerous interviews and bunch of promotional appearances after, Jordin Sparks is getting down to the business with new album.
Post crowned the sixth season's Idol winner, Jordin Sparks is having a hectic schedule especially for her prolonged music career. In the midst of numerous interviews and flash blitz, the 17 years old is already provided with a deadline for her first album.
While, she is yet unsure of what type of music will be for her debut album, she has some names as collaborators already. "I'd love to do a duet with Mario or Chris Brown ... but let's see what happens," Jordin said.
She also admits to listening to many genres of music that she prefers to combine if it allows. "I listen to Nat King Cole and Patsy Cline and Bon Jovi and Heart and NSYNC and Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake too. I want to mix it all together. I hope people like it."
Before starting the work of this debut album, Jordin will join her fellow sixth season contestants to kick off for a tour on July 6. She will then little time to finish the album before Thanksgiving. "I'm going to be doing the tour and trying to find songs at the same time. And then after the tour, it's gonna be record, record, record, write, write, write."
