A country music singer-songwriter and Oklahoma native, Toby Keith has been chosen to be inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame.
Keith, who was born in Clinton, Oklahoma, is one among the eight lucky inductees, who among others include businessman Clay Bennett, civil rights activist Clara Luper, and Linda K. Twine, a renowned conductor, composer and music educator.
The induction banquet is planned for November 8th later this year in Oklahoma City.
The Oklahoma Hall of Fame was established in 1928 and has 613 members.
