Lindsay Lohan's wild life gets her into trouble for one more time and it seems that this time around it's very serious. The actress-singer was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence on Saturday May 26th after losing control of her Mercedes convertible.
Speaking on the accident, Sgt. Mike Foxen explained that Lindsay was traveling in her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 with two other passengers when the vehicle crashed on Sunset Boulevard. The pop star was quickly rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries, and was released soon thereafter. The two other people in her car were reportedly unharmed.
While no one else was hurt and no other cars were involved, it appeared that Lindsay was speeding. To make matter worse, officers at the scene found a "usable amount" of a drug tentatively identified as cocaine.
Foxen said Lindsay was arrested, but not taken into custody, after police located her at the hospital for her injuries. She was subsequently cited and released on this misdemeanor charge and will next have to appear in court to answer the citation.
