Win a chance to get your dogs featured in the movie as well as a trip to the flick's world premiere in Los Angeles.
Providing chance for common dogs to appear in its upcoming flick "Underdog", Walt Disney Pictures has announced that it is now holding the "Underdog Super Pet Contest" which every dog owner can enter to win a trip to the world premiere with his/her four-legged friend and have it appear in the movie.
Those who are interested to give it a try are required to submit a video or photo of their dogs doing something considered to be extraordinary enough - from looking super sharp to attempting a super trick or feat. Contest will end on June 1 with ten videos and images selected to be the finalists by the filmmakers on the basis of super creativity and uniqueness. To enter the competition and learn more about it, please go to Disney.com .
"It's a special opportunity to give the public a chance to own a piece of the film. This contest with Disney.com takes advantage of what the Internet has to offer - it empowers families to submit user-generated content that can be part of a collective shared experience," President of Marketing at Walt Disney Studios Marketing Jim Gallagher remarked. "There's no better payoff than to be surprised at the end of the movie and see your favorite four-legged friend on the big screen."
Meanwhile, others can participate by visiting the contest site to vote for the finalists during June 8-14. The top two of the most popular recipients in each category will win a trip to the flick's world premiere in Los Angeles, California before it receives wide release in theaters on August 3 this year.
A mix of live-action and state-of-the-art CGI special effects, "Underdog" focuses on an ordinary beagle, which unexpectedly finds himself with unimaginable powers and the ability to speak after an accident occurs in the mysterious lab of maniacal scientist Dr. Simon Barsinister. Armed with a fetching superhero costume, Underdog determines to protect the beleaguered citizens of Capitol City and, in particular, one beautiful spaniel named Polly Purebread.
