"The Great Buck Howard" has included members of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah in its cast, marking their debut on the silver screen.

AceShowbiz - Filmmakers of "The Great Buck Howard" are adding an unusual member in the flick's cast list. The spokesperson of rock band Clap Your Hands Say Yeah has confirmed that all personnel of this Brooklyn-based troupe are set to appear in the drama and currently in Hollywood to film their scenes in the project.

Though complete details have not been revealed, the members, consisting of Alec Ounsworth, Lee Sargent, Robbie Guertin, Tyler Sargent, and Sean Greenhalgh, are said to play themselves in the movie for sure. Apart from their inclusion in the lineup, the quintet has already written a number of songs for the flick, which is expected to be released this autumn.

Written and directed by Sean McGinly, "Buck Howard" features a star-studded cast which includes Tom Hanks and his son, Colin Hanks, as well as John Malkovich, Emily Blunt, Adam Scott, and Griffin Dunne. Story tells about a renowned illusionist (Malkovich) who picks up a young man (Colin Hanks) fresh out of school to become his new assistant. However, it appears that his father (Hanks) is not enthused about his son's career choice at all.
