"Crank" star Amy Smart will star in West Coast swing dance flick "Love N' Dancing."
Set to go wherever rhythm takes her, Amy Smart has landed the female lead in a big screen feature about swing dance entitled "Love N' Dancing" opposite "The Attic" star Tom Malloy.
Here the beauty is poised to portray a bored-with-life English teacher who befriends a West Coast Swing dancer, played by Malloy, with whom she enters the world Swing dance competition while overcoming obstacles presented by her workaholic fiancee and his former dance partner.
Production on the project will begin on July 16 in Albuquerque, New Mexico under Trick Candle Productions and Dolger Films banner with second unit work being shot in Philadelphia. Taking helming duties is Robert Iscove who will direct based on script penned by Malloy while Robert Royston and Sylvia Caminer have both already come onboard to produce.
