John Cusack is reported to be attached as the leadstar in Jan de Bont's action thriller "Stopping Power."
Sure there will be plenty of chances to see John Cusack on the big screen as the actor has just added one more coveted role into his acting credits.
The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that the dark-haired thesp is attached to play the lead in action thriller "Stopping Power", which is one of the six new projects coming from the new Intermedia-backed sales and distribution outfit IM Global.
In this movie, Cusack will be billed as a test pilot who sets off on a series of high-speed chases to save his kidnapped daughter from an escaped thief. Dutch filmmaker Jan de Bont, best known for his work in "Speed", has come onboard to direct.
Script has already entrusted into the hands of "Swordfish" scribe Skip Wood to work on with Eric Red. Meanwhile, Alison Haskovec, Hermann Joha, and Scott Kroopf will all serve as the producers.
