Evans Blue Prepares Sophomore Set

Evans Blue is answering the demands of new record after the success of debut effort.

Evans Blue that garnered attention through single "Cold (But I'm Still Here)", is in the making of sophomore effort. Leaving their old formation and taking a level higher, the Canadian based band aims to satisfy its fans and open up to a wider reception.

The band headed to The Pocket Studio earlier this March to put up the finishing touches of materials to be included in "The Pursuit Begins When this Portrayal of Life Ends". The initial aim was June but due to one thing or another they have pushed back the date to July 24. First single will circulate US and Canadian radio in mid May and immediately after, the band will hit the road sometime in late May or early June.

Evans Blue is a Juno nominated rock band that started making big bang in 2005. Two of the singles from their debut album "The Melody and the Energetic Nature of Volume" entered the Top 20 of US Mainstream Rock chart. The band has changed its drummer twice whereby Davis Howard now takes the position.
