Joel Schumacher Praying for "Inland Saints"

Fresh from helming "The Number 23", Joel Schumacher has been tapped to direct supernatural urban drama "Inland Saints" for Paramount Pictures.

Still seeing his latest effort of "The Number 23" circulate around theaters, Joel Schumacher has given his agreement to carry out helming duties for "Inland Saints", a new feature coming from Paramount Pictures.

Described as a supernatural urban drama about love, betrayal and need, the project revolves around a young leader of a dangerous street gang who falls in love with the daughter of the detective hired to bring down his gang.

Pic will be developed based on Kurt Sutter's script with Lorenzo di Bonaventura producing through his eponymous production company alongside Eli Holzman. Being so, it thereby marks the reunion between Schumacher and di Bonaventura, who previously worked together on a number of movies, including two "Batman" films, "The Client" and "Falling Down."
