New Line Commences a
Movie

New Line Cinema is working with Benderspink to make a new comedy entitled "Mancation" from Jared Bush's draft.

AceShowbiz - Quickly securing another big screen project to work on after "The Latin Lover", New Line Cinema and Benderspink are joining forces again to bring a comedic project titled "Mancation" to the surface, Variety has reported.

Written by Jared Bush, the picture is said to present a story of a man who thinks marriage has robbed his younger brother of his manhood and drags him on a testosterone-filled "mancation" to help him get it back. No word yet on who to star or direct, but it is learned that Benderspink's Chris Bender, JC Spink and Jake Weiner will all produce.

Bush, known as a TV scribe, is noticed to have penned for a number of TV series, including "Baby Bob" and "All of Us." "Mancation" will be his next writing project he works at Benderspink after rom-com flick "Save the Date", which is also made for New Line banner.

In related news, it has been learned that New Line will also develop a romantic comedy following the preemptive purchase it struck with scribe Kara Holden. While plot details are being kept under wraps, it is described as in the vein of "Meet the Parents" and will be produced by ContraFilm.
