American Idol Seeks Songwriters



American Idol receives entry of eligible songs that will get the chance to be performed on stage by the show's stars.

American Idol has not only opened spots for front stage people, the show is also in search of songwriters! The new program of the sixth season, seeks original songs that can make people sing, dance or even cry.

In the show's official website, there are 4 steps guidance that will allow people to submit their entry, including the kind of songs they are searching. Written under the Song's the Star column is 'We're listening for a song with a powerful melodic and emotional hook that will connect with the American public young and old…Above all, it must be memorable and feel like a fitting end to this series of American Idol."

To enter the competition, a $10 fee must be paid for each entry. Visit americanidol.com to start submitting before the deadline on April 17.
