Jennifer Lopez has agreed to be executive producer of a five-hour musical drama on Univision, the Spanish-language network in California.

Lopez has agreed to be the executive producer of a five-hour musical drama on Univision, the Spanish-language network in California. Besides executive producing, she will also provide soundtrack for the miniseries.

The project, titled "La Flor Palida," is slated to begin filming in Mexico City within the next few weeks and scheduled for a tentative premiere date in late May. It will feature music from Lopez's just-released Spanish CD "Como Ama Una Mujer."

Leon Ichaso is in hand directing from a script written by Jimena Romero. Also serve as executive producers are Ichaso and Simon Fields. It is said that Lopez will not act in the project but will appear at the end of each episode, singing a song from "Como Ama Una Mujer."
