SectorSeven.org has confirmed that Hugo Weaving will lend his voice in "Transformers" as Megatron, the leader of the evil Decepticons.

AceShowbiz - Previously scoring success in delivering memorable vicious performance in "Matrix" trilogy, Hugo Weaving is going to ride another vehicle as a villainous character again, only this time he will be totally unseen except for his voice.

Yes, the movie's promo site SectorSeven.org has revealed that the Nigerian-born actor has agreed to move away from the camera to provide the voice of Megatorn in "Transformers", the primary fictional villain who is also the leader of Decepticons and the archenemy of Optimus Prime, the commander of the heroic Autobots.

Weaving's inclusion in the highly anticipated flick is available on an e-mail put under "Counter-Information Campaign" title. It can be viewed after visitors submit the password "NBETWO" and click on the scorpion at the bottom after which they get a list of e-mails.

Slated to hit U.S. theaters in coincidence with the Fourth of July holiday, "Transformers" is the live-action adaptation of popular franchise and toy line of the same name produced largely by Takara and sold outside of Japan by Hasbro from 1984 onwards. The story depicts the Earth being caught in the middle of an intergalactic war between two races of robots, the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons.
