AceShowbiz - Resting for 2 years since the platinum record "To the 5 Boroughs" (2004) proves to be a worthwhile break for the Beastie Boys. They finally are beaming to release the long awaited seventh album, are coined to appear in the upcoming Sasquatch! Music Festival, and also hit both Vienna festival and Bestival.
The band has given a little hint that the album will be out in summer this year. Though has not been named, during an interview with JAM! Music in 2006, the members of the band claimed it to be "the best they are working on" and "hot".
In the meantime, the appearance on the Sasquatch! Music Festival has been stated on the band's official website and the Beasties will be given the second quarter on Sunday, May 27. The festival which takes place at the Gorge Amphitheater will also present other renowned musicians such as Bjork, Interpol and M.I.A.. Meanwhile, the Beastie's Bestival appearance is set on Sept 9 at the Isle of Wight.
